Congratulations Jem & Go Sagehens!

It is with some pride and much joy that I congratulate PDC Diver, Jem Stern, on his verbal commitment to both attend Pomona College and compete on the Sagehens Swim and Dive Team next season.  Jem, is a senior at Phoenix Country Day School and has been diving since a very young age.  While Jem has many lovable qualities, some of the most notable are his commitment to this amazing sport, an impressive academic record, his always pleasant demeanor on deck and an affinity for French music - okay the last one may not be lovable but we collectively tolerate it.  

In addition to diving, Jem is involved with a multitude of service projects and gives freely of his time for good causes.  He has been a cast member for his school play, plays multiple musical instruments, is well-spoken/written/read, and my personal favorite - he can bake (though he rarely finds the time).  It is bittersweet that Jem's club diving career is coming to a close; however, I know that, without a doubt, the next chapter in Jem's personal life and diving life will be both colorful and wildly successful.
